JANUARY 15TH MAGNET & VPK APPLICATION DEADLINE HAS PASSED

The deadline for Magnet and VPK applications for the 2026–2027 school year has passed. For the Magnet program, active duty military families may apply by contacting Ms. Erica McDaniel at 305-995-1922.
The application window for the VPK/Role Model Program has now closed for everyone. Parents may apply for the Magnet program, Kindergarten as of October 1, 2026.

Parents who applied for our programs within the application window will be notified of their child's status on March 15, 2026.
REGISTER TO VOLUNTEER/CHAPERONE
EVERY SCHOOL YEAR

Parents interested in volunteering or chaperoning a field trip must have a background check completed by Miami-Dade County Public Schools every year. Please visit the following link : https://www.engagemiamidade.net/volunteers to register. The process may take up to 3-5 days. Once cleared, parents must stop by the Magnet Office for their new ID badge. Parents will not be contacted by the school. The badge must be worn at all times when volunteering on campus or chaperoning a field trip.
