Welcome parents and guardians,

All applicants entering Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, may apply for the 2025-2026 school year between October 1st, 2024 through January 15th, 2025 at www.yourchoicemiami.org.  Parents  will be notified  of their child's status on March 15, 2025 via e-mail.  Please read more about our program via the links on this page.

Children entering Kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before September 1st. Students applying for first through eighth grade may be assessed through use of a basic skills test in order to determine current academic levels.  Additionally, prior school records including report cards, student progress reports and/or state assessment measures will provide objective data regarding past performance. Proof of this information directly impacts the likelihood of success this student may have at Air Base K-8 Center.

Active Duty Military Families

Children of active duty military families will receive priority for available seats. All students must meet the school's admittance requirements (please see the Contract/Criteria). Placement is contingent on space availability and applicants meeting all entrance requirements.

Military orders or a service statement must be submitted upon applying for Kindergarten through eighth grade. Parents applying for students entering first through eighth grade are required to submit their child's academic records (i.e. report cards, progress reports). These records shall be reviewed to determine the student's eligibility for our program. Teacher Recommendations are not required to apply for our program.
