At Air Base K-8 Center for International Education, we strongly believe that family inolvement plays a vital role in the success of our students and school community.  We warmly encourage parents, grandparents and other family to become active volunteers. Your support-whether chaperoning field trips, assisting in the classroom or helping during school events-greatly enhances the educational experience for all of our students.

To ensure the safety and security of our campus, all volunteers must complete the required registration process. Interested individuals must register online using the designated volunteer link. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email from the District Vounteer Office.  After approval, please visit the Magnet Office to have your photo taken and to receive your official volunteer ID badge.

Please note that volunteer registration is valid only for the current school year and expires at the end of each school year. All volunteers must reapply annually and obtain a new badge. Badges are not issued on the day of a field trip or event, so we kindly as that you plan ahead.

For the safety of all students, individuals without proper clearance are not permitted to attend field trips, participate in school events, or assist in classrooms. Processing approval may take approximately 3-5 days, so early registration is strongly recommended. 

 

Additionally, different levels of clearance are required depending on the type of volunteer activity:

• Level 1 Clearance is required for day field trip chaperones and general volunteering. 

• Level 2 Clearance is required for overnight field trips. This includes fingerprinting at the District Office and additional approval.
