Your child may be enrolled in a school‐age child care program at Air Base K-8 Center.  A variety of academic enhancement and enrichment activities, including homework assistance, indoor and outdoor games, music, and arts and crafts part of your child's daily routine while in our program.

THE VPK APPLICATION PERIOD FOR THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR IS NOW CLOSED.

The Pre-Kindergarten program is for children 4 years of age on or before September 1st. This is separate from the Magnet Program and therefore, there is a separate application process.  The application period for the 2022-2023 school year is now closed.  
 
Parents that applied during the application period must ensure to register for your child's Certificate of Eligibility (COE).  You may visit VPKhelp.org to register.  The COE was not required upon applying but WILL be required upon registration if your child is accepted.

The VPK at Air Base K-8 Center is a fee-based program. You may contact Ms. Blackburn,
